Back with a vengeance for a sixth season of startling suspense and unexpected twists. It's been a year since last season's shocking and heartbreaking conclusion, and mild mannered criminologist-cum-grisly serial killer Dexter Morgan has come to terms with who he is. But his existence is shattered when he crosses paths with an enemy unlike any he's faced before. A delusional religious zealot with unflinching convictions, this new adversary soon draws Dexter into a dangerous game.

Really hated this season six--Colin Hanks must have had his father buy him the part cause he was just awful!-- making the whole season flop-- And as for Debra letting that shrink mess with her head --I don't think the Debra that we have come to know would ever allow that--cops hate shrinks! So now after this whole series is coming to an end -- the slimy writers are going to end it with a brother and sister having sex--that's what they set us up for--shame on them--and for ruining another show--

Certainly not the best season; too many incongruous and inexplicable moments. Still an interesting story line with an ending that makes it hard to wait for the next season, even if it didn't make that much sense... oh, and I hate Showtime for making you sit through a 2 minute commercial you can't skip every time you start a disc.
