Chronicles of A Mid-life Crisis
Paperback - 2008
Trent and Lucy have created the perfect life together. So Lucy is blindsided when, after 16 years of marriage, Trent tells her he's leaving. Crushed, she holds it together for 15-year-old Samantha, and throws herself into her career. Then, suddenly, Sam's shocking rebellion causes Trent and Lucy to reunite as parents and forces them to examine what they want for their own futures, and for that of their family. At times hilarious and heartbreaking, Chronicles of a Mid-Life Crisis goes beyond the mid-life crisis clich#65533;; it examines the breakup of a marriage, the adage "life begins at forty," and what it means to be a family.

Add a CommentGreat book- loved the Canadian references. The only issue I have is that I found the ending a bit "unfinished" and "hurried". In one second after all this angst throughout the book the main character was able to turn her life around...maybe I'm just a cynic!
