" Richard Cain (Scalzetti), was part of the Dave Yaras-Lennie Patrick-Sam Giancana element of the Chicago Mafia (the outfit), which had demonstrable links to Jack Ruby, in 1963."

Found Menninger on Medium.com with a long, detailed story about the shot that killed Kennedy. Very, very convincing. He also links to a Sun Magazine article from 1977 that relates the Donahue investigation which led to this book. I want to read this book.

Finally, 50 years after his assassination and more than a dozen books that never reached a solid conclusion - we have "Mortal Error" that, due to the efforts of a firearms and ballistics expert, finally shows what happened that day. The kill shot was an accident. Now read the book to know who and how. I'm glad I finally know.
