It was good but where can I find Betrayal?

Deception introduces a seventeen year old girl, Emma Vaile who throws a party after her parents disappear for a business trip. But soon the police arrive at her doorstep. She is handed over to her brother’s cute college friend Bennett Stern for safe keeping. She moves to New England, goes to Thatcher Academy and made new friends. All seemed normal until Emma gets strange visions and has flashbacks about her school in which she has never enrolled or visited in her life. She hears voices that whisper a name: Neos. She soon realises that she is a ghostkeeper. Someone that can actually see ghosts that can dispel, compel, summon and communicate with them. Emma discovers that ghostkeepers are being murdered. And she hopes that all her questions will all be answered.

Lee Nichols’s first young adult novel takes place in a world of suspense, romance and a lot of mystery. Emma is head strong, outgoing and funny. She chose really immature choices, but now lots of responsibilities are thrust upon her. She’s worried about her family and always trying to communicate with them.

Deception is an intriguing ghost story. This novel has a lot of surprising events and wonderful characters. This story will keep you drooling for the next novel, Betrayal in this thrilling trilogy.

Emma used to have imaginary friends... or what she thought were imaginary friends. Turns out Emma can see and summon ghosts. When her parents disappear, she moves across the country and her dormant powers reawaken. Now she just needs to figure out how to use them.

This book was a great surprise. I really enjoyed it.
