This book is haunting. I don't mean it in the so-scary-I-can't-sleep kind of way, I mean that at the end, I was starting at the last page with a horrified expression. And what's with the not-ending? No one really did anything about the wrong acts the club was committing, just saved themselves....

After I read the book, I was a little disappointed, the ending seems to have happened abrupt. I was a little caught off guard. It is not the best book I've read but I still applaud Lois Duncan for her unique sense of capturing the thrill and realism in this book. I loved how she jumped from one character's story to the other without making it confusing to the reader. The experiences the characters were facing was realistic and made it easy to relate too. I found this good because it makes me feel like I'm also part of the book and I could feel what they're feeling. Overall, it is a good read and quick. I'd recommend it if your just looking for something to pass the time. I am sorry to say though, it is not the best. :(

"Daughters of Eve" was a great book to read. I've always enjoyed reading Lois Duncan's books, and this one was no exception. It starts off a little slow, but it does pick up. It's a bit of a thriller book, and a quick read. If you like this book, then you should check out "Down a Dark Hall".
