Tangled is such a magical movie, that will uplift your spirits. It is about a princess named Rapunzel who has magical powers through her hair. An evil person named Gothel steals her when she is a baby and keeps her locked up in a tower so she can use Rapunzel’s powers. Rapunzel doesn't remember being stolen and thinks Gothel is her mother. Every year the castle lights lanterns on Rapunzel’s birthday in hope to find the lost princess. On Rapunzel’s 18th birthday she becomes curious about the lanterns and escapes with the help of Flynn Rider who is a thief. During her journey she sees the outside world for the first time, meets many new friends, finds true love, and discovers what Gothel has been doing to her this whole time. I recommend this for all ages because of the wonderful plot and character development.

Good movie. The copy I borrowed skipped in a few places, particularly around the beginning, but was overall watchable.

I barrowed thiss dvd back in2011 it was a very good movie my brother put a hold on it i have a doll from this movie it is a big doll not that big but a little and it plays music when you press her tummy i got another Repozal doll i got it 5 weeks ago i forgot i have it but this one sings so i was like should i take it or not but i got it my mom let me have it it was only 1 doll there were all kinds of dolls but i wanted repozonel it was my favorite and talks june 8 2019 i just forgot to write it down.

One of the better princess movies, I genuinely feel. Maybe it's because it's more modernly designed? Aside from the gorgeous art, Rapunzel just feels like a much more relatable person (mile-long hair aside) and the various characters have flaws that aren't particularly noticable, but are still important to the plot.

Love this movie - seen it at least over 10 times over the years. Fantastic cast, good funny dialogue, singing by the two leads is top notch. Stunning animation. Really worth seeing! The music and songs are also fantastic.

Good movie. Interesting take on the Rapunzel story you grew up with as a child.

An amazing Disney film showing that Disney had bounced back from the slump it found itself in the 1990's, but was overshadowed by the next movie that came out. However, I think Tangled is better. I adored the heroine in this film. She was spunky, optimistic, and stronger than she looked. The hero was snarky, fun, and adventurous. The villain was one of the most manipulative villains in Disney's history. She only wanted one thing, and succeeded in holding onto her goal for eighteen years. While the songs weren't as catchy as the ones that came later, they were still fun, especially "Mother Knows Best," "I've Got a Dream," and "I See the Light." Overall, this movie was one of Disney's finest, and shows what a good decision it was to hire the entire Pixar team for their animation department.

TANGLED BIRTHDAY QUOTE:

Rapunzel: It's my birthday! Ta-daa
Mother Gothel: No no no, can't be. I distinctly remember. Your birthday was last year.
Rapunzel: That's the funny thing about birthdays. They're kind of an annual thing.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Rapunzel might encourage other people to grow 70 feet of hair or more. now if they start early, their hair could ACTUALLY grow across new York. True story.
