Matt haig's a boy called Christmas is a fantastic book. The chapters are small and are very easy to read. The story is great too! It's all about Father Christmas when he was a kid and how he bacame Father Christmas . I will definitely be reading the sequel "the girl who saved Christmas".

Matt Haig’s “A Boy Called Christmas” is an imaginative creation with a, for me, new spin on the origin story of Santa Claus. I really enjoyed it.

I was fortunate to find this book on the Express Reads shelf at the library just a few days before Christmas. It introduces all the relevant Saint Nicholas beliefs in a plausible way. The author sensitively handles tough issues such as the deaths of the boy's parents.

Awesome book! Great read aloud for the whole family. If you are looking for a wonderful Christmas book and how St. Nick became Father Christmas, look no further. It truly demonstrated the meaning of Christmas without the commercial bits with a magical journey that's both charming and whimsical. It is dark to start, but what quest isn't? It is sure to be a classic!
