Beautiful scenery, but the basic story of a powerful man doing whatever it takes to stay on top while he is in conflict with his sons holds nothing I haven’t seen before. I couldn’t get interested. If I were younger and this was new to me, I would probably be leaving a different review.

Good show, the characters are so varied and what personalities.

Not a good movie for sensitive people. Liked the scenery, liked the individual actors but the basic story left me cold.

Why such graphic violence? I know the term Deer in the headlights, but did they need to show the splattered coyote on the road afterwards? Grim and dismal, I couldn't understand the point of a lot of the juvenile antics of any of the characters.

Great acting, disgusting characters. Ranchers, a developer, and crooked politicians. Not one redeeming factor. If this is what goes for entertainment then I can go without.

Wow, what a great story we really loved it and can hardly wait for the third DVD. I checked the library website and to our excitement it was ready to be picked up today. We highly recommend this series for those who like action, intrigue. good characters, a strong theme, attention to details and a simple enough plot that it was easy to follow.

Excellent series.

I LOVE this show! Modern western with gorgeous scenery and of course Kevin Costner! The character development is really wonderful in this series! Season two kicks it up a notch even higher! Rip is a great character and the thing I love about this show is that each character has their flaws as we all do. They really delve into that! Fantastic family dynamic of complete controlling & dysfunctional behavior and what it does to adults who have been raised that way! Can't wait for each episode each week and happy there will be a season 3!
