It revolves around the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest ranch in the US, which is under constant attack by those it borders: land developers, an Indian reservation, and America's first National Park. This is a world where land grabbers make developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world's largest oil and lumber corporations. It is the best and worst of America seen through the eyes of a family that represents both.

A soap opera to be sure ....but not in the conventional sense. Tyler Sheridan is the talented writer and a MASTER STORY WRITER. The production is first rate---Kevin Costner shines...and I dare you not to binge watch this series that puts most others to shame. ENJOY!!!!
Second DVD was excellent, now looking forward to 3 & 4.
This is excellent entertainment. Kevin Costner is great. All the the actors and actresses are very good. It was difficult not to binge this one. Lots of action. Violent and gory at times. Loved it!
WOW! We saw Season 2 TV, but hadn't seen Season 1. We got the first season, and now we want to see Season 2 again. Season 2 is definitely not for young eyes. This series is excellent - exciting, well-acted, and beautiful. I hope they can afford to continue this series. Well worth watching.
