I did not know that Richard Adams wrote a sequel to his popular tale about a colony of intelligent rabbits. This second book contains 19 short stories. The first half of the book defines the overall mythology of the rabbits. If you can imagine Neil Gaiman's *Norse Mythology* rewritten to include proper English rabbits, you'll be not too far off. The second half of the book continues the Watership Down story featuring some of our favourite characters, such as Bigwig and Fiver. Maybe it was the short story format, but I found that this book lacked the emotional impact that I remember from the original.
