It seems that the older Ret. Detective Joe Leaphorn gets, the grumpier and thus more lovable he becomes. In this latest installment he helps a museum track down an extremely precious donation that has gone missing. Meanwhile, Bernie and Jim help to solve a series of burglaries, a shooting, and of course, a murder. As expected, the Four Corners landscape is featured heavily and contributes to the strong sense of place.
